1. Why did you decide to run in the 2010 Winnipeg election?
I'm running to make a difference and to provide a voice for the ward of St Charles.
As your councillor I will make ever effort to keep the constituents informed about the activities at city hall.
2. What experience will you bring to complement your role as councillor?
I have extensive experience in management and organizations of unions and associations through out the province.
I have an clear view of the needs of the ward as I'm a long term resident of the ward.
3. What are the major issues you would like to stand for and why did you choose these issues?
We need to bring back Community Policing
Refurbish our parks Plan for affordable senior housing - not the kind of housing proposed for Oblate Field on St Charles.
Provide addional support for our community clubs
Promote community and programming
Attend to infrastructures - streets and bridges.
4. Is there anything in particular you would like to change in our city? In your ward?
We need to start planning and not developing in the Knee jerk fashion we have now.
When a proposal such as the expansion of Polo Park is put forward, we need to involve the public in a consultation. Further we need to conduct an environmental study to investigate how such a development would impact the surrounding communities and the existing traffic patterns
