Why did you decide to run in the 2010 school board election?
I was first elected to the board in 2006. I believe I have brought a fresh perspective to the board. I have more to contribute to LRSD, so running for re-election was an easy choice.
What experience will you bring to complement your role as school trustee?
I own a small business in Winnipeg called Heartland International English School. Previously, I was an English teacher in Japan for 3 years. My education and business experience are a good combination in dealing with issues at the board table.
Is there anything in particular you would like to change in your school division? In your ward?
I will continue to champion education for sustainable development.
