What got you into politics?
The word politics has almost become an untrustworthy word. People associate it the thought of those in power will do what they want and there is nothing the people can do. I do this because I care what happens. I want people to know that people like myself are out there.
What experience will you bring to compliment your role as (Mayor / Councillor / School Trustee)?
Being a councillor is not just about fixing a pothole. Experience comes from life, and learning, and listening, watching, and doing. I would rather hire someone that has done a specific job for 20 years than someone just out of university that has a paper saying he is smart…. That person has no experience. I have dealt with the public and people my whole life in various forums. People need someone they can feel comfortable talking to. Someone they can relate to and someone they can trust. I am that person.
What are some issues that you would like to stand for in your role as (Mayor / Councillor / School Trustee), and why are these issues important to you?
Neighbourhood crime. Needs people to have more responsibility for their actions regardless of age.
Better allocation of funds. Too much over spending.
Better traffic flow, bus service etc
