What got you into politics?

I had known Bill Clement for years. After he had passed I was starting to notice nothing was getting done by any new councillor. As time passed I thought I should give this a shot, I’ve been a resident of Charleswood for 57 years born and raised.

What experience will you bring to compliment your role as (Mayor / Councillor / School Trustee)?

My knowledge of logistics of being the transportation industry and courier business will be aimed towards transit for better schedules.  Also a background in construction in building and repairing streets.

What are some issues that you would like to stand for in your role as (Mayor / Councillor / School Trustee), and why are these issues important to you?

I’m very strong in keeping green spaces. I want a third lane added to Wilkes dedicated as a turning lane, and if required lower the speed limit and or add a set of lights at Charleswood Rd and Wilkes and Elmhurst and Wilkes. Public safety better street lighting replace police officers on buses and in emergency rooms with cadets, allowing police officer to be used  what they have been hired for.

Do you have any other comments regarding your candidacy?

i believe a candidate running for councillor should be from their riding who knows the area and even the history.
